Seit kurzem gibt es den untethered Jailbreak für euer iPhone 4S oder iPad2. Vorraussetzung ist, dass iOS 5.0.1 auf eurem Gerät läuft. Hier möchte ich euch zeigen, wie ihr euer iPhone mit dem Greenpoison Absinthe (untethered) jailbreaked.

Unterstützte Geräte

• iPhone 4S mit iOS 5 oder 5.0.1 (9A405 und 9A406)

• iPad 2 (Wifi/GSM/CDMA) mit iOS 5.0.1

 
Downloads

• iOS 5.0.1 (iPad2)

• iOS 5.0.1 (iPhone 4S)

• iTunes 10.5.3 (Mac / Windows)

• Greenpoison Absinthe 0.3 (Mac)

• Greenpoison Absinthe 0.3 (Win)

 
Der Jailbreak

1. Download von Greenpois0n Absinthe –> Entpacken –> Greenpoison Absinthe ausführen

2. Verbinde deine iPhone oder iPad mit iTunes –> Backup –> Up -oder Downgrade auf iOS 5.0.1 (Falls eine andere Version auf dem Gerät läuft, ansonsten reicht das Backup)

3. Verbinde deine iPhone oder iPad erneut mit dem Computer und öffne Greenpoison Absinthe

4. Klicke auf Jailbreak –> Befolge die Anweisungen –> Abwarten

5. Wenn der Vorgang abgeschlossen ist, solltest du ein Absinthe Symbol auf deinem iPhone/iPad sehen. Starte Absinthe –> Dein Device sollte jetzt einen Neustart machen…
Nach dem Neustart sollte statt dem Absinthe Logo das Cydia Symbol erscheinen.

iREB ermöglicht euch das Aufspielen einer sogenannten Custom Firmware. Ihr müsst euer iPhone, iPad oder iPod dazu in den pwned DFU Modus bringen. iREB versetzt das iDevice in den sogenannten pwned DFU Modus, damit ihr die Custom Firmware über iTunes einspielen könnt!

We’ve released redsn0w 0.9.8b6 to jailbreak iOS5 beta6 (point it directly at the beta6 IPSW). Two important notes about this version: (1) Please let your device boot normally to IOS5b6 and do a clean shutdown (slide to power off) before jailbreaking. (2) Boot logos have intentionally been disabled for now, so you’ll see a black screen on tethered boots (you can re-enable logos or verbose boot with command-line options if you really want them back).
